STEP UK Secure English Test (Webcam Monitored) The STEP UK Secure English Test (Webcam Monitored) is designed for candidates and organisations that require a higher level of test security and integrity. This option includes identity verification, continuous webcam video recording, and cheating detection measures to provide increased confidence in test conditions and results. At the time of booking, the test taker must upload a valid form of identification. If the ID does not include a photograph, an additional photo of the test taker must be uploaded. These documents are used as part of the identity verification process. After booking and document submission, the test taker will receive a personalised test link and full instructions by email. To begin the test, a working webcam is mandatory. Throughout the test session, continuous webcam video recording is active, and automated monitoring tools are used to detect potential irregular behaviour and misuse. The test is completed fully online and assesses English proficiency across key language skills. Results are delivered to the registered email address, accompanied by a secure test statement confirming that enhanced monitoring and cheating detection measures were applied. This option is suitable for employers, institutions, and organisations that require a higher level of assurance regarding candidate identity and test integrity. Important Notice The STEP UK English Proficiency Test and its accompanying results are intended for personal development, training records, internal organisational use, and general proficiency recognition. They are not suitable for immigration, visa applications, or any process requiring a UKVI-approved English test.

Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy: All bookings must be completed using your correct full name and email address. Your test link will be emailed to you before your scheduled session. You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, a working webcam and microphone, and a quiet environment suitable for testing. Profile Photo Requirement: All test takers must upload a clear profile photo to their STEP UK account before the test. This photo is used solely for identification and test security during the session. Bookings without a profile photo may be delayed or refused. Cancellations & Rescheduling: You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before your test time. After this period, changes are not permitted. If you miss your session, arrive too late to begin, or are unable to complete the test due to personal or technical issues (including internet failure, device problems, or unsuitable environment), the booking is considered used, and a new test must be purchased. No-Show Policy: Failure to attend your scheduled test, or joining more than 10 minutes after the start time, will be recorded as a no-show. No refunds or rescheduling are available for missed sessions. Refunds: All test purchases are non-refundable once confirmed. Please ensure you understand all requirements before booking. If STEP UK must cancel or postpone a test for any reason, you will be offered a free reschedule. Test Access & Certificate: You will receive your test link by email before your test. Certificates are issued only to customers who purchase the Test + Certificate Bundle. Certificates are for personal assessment only and are not suitable for immigration or official visa purposes. Waitlist Policy: If a test slot is full, you may join the waitlist. You will be notified automatically if a space becomes available. Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. Important Notes: By booking a test, you agree to follow all STEP UK test rules, including camera usage and academic honesty. STEP UK reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
