The STEP-UK Junior Test-Only Bundle provides young learners with a structured and age-appropriate online English proficiency assessment, without the inclusion of a certificate. This bundle is designed for children and teenagers under the age of 18, typically aged 7+, who are developing their English language skills and require a clear, guided evaluation of their progress across all four core language skills. > Purpose and Design The Junior Test assesses: - Reading - Listening - Writing - Speaking All tasks are designed specifically for younger learners, using clear instructions, child-friendly language, and formats suitable for developing literacy and communication skills. The test provides an indicative CEFR-aligned level to support learning, confidence building, and internal academic tracking. > Registration and Responsibility Because the candidate is under 18: - The test must be registered by a parent, legal guardian, or authorised adult - The registering adult must declare their relationship to the candidate - The registering adult accepts full responsibility for: - Consent - Supervision - Compliance with test rules and conditions - Accuracy of candidate details STEP-UK enters into a contractual relationship with the registering adult, not with the minor candidate. > How It Works 1- The registering adult completes the booking and payment 2- Test access details and instructions are sent by email 3- The candidate completes the test online in a suitable home or school environment 4- Results are processed after completion 5- An indicative CEFR-aligned result is provided > What’s Included One full online STEP-UK Junior English Proficiency Test Assessment of Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking CEFR-aligned indicative result Secure test delivery and monitoring Online access from any location Clear instructions and support materials > What’s Not Included Certificate Official result documents Verification or authentication services If you require a certificate, please select the STEP-UK Junior Test + Certificate Bundle instead. > Important Notes This bundle does not include a certificate The test results are intended for: Learning progress tracking School or internal programme use Confidence building and skills development Results are not suitable for official immigration, visa, or government purposes Retakes require the purchase of a new test bundle

Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy: All bookings must be completed using your correct full name and email address. Your test link will be emailed to you before your scheduled session. You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, a working webcam and microphone, and a quiet environment suitable for testing. Profile Photo Requirement: All test takers must upload a clear profile photo to their STEP UK account before the test. This photo is used solely for identification and test security during the session. Bookings without a profile photo may be delayed or refused. Cancellations & Rescheduling: You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before your test time. After this period, changes are not permitted. If you miss your session, arrive too late to begin, or are unable to complete the test due to personal or technical issues (including internet failure, device problems, or unsuitable environment), the booking is considered used, and a new test must be purchased. No-Show Policy: Failure to attend your scheduled test, or joining more than 10 minutes after the start time, will be recorded as a no-show. No refunds or rescheduling are available for missed sessions. Refunds: All test purchases are non-refundable once confirmed. Please ensure you understand all requirements before booking. If STEP UK must cancel or postpone a test for any reason, you will be offered a free reschedule. Test Access & Certificate: You will receive your test link by email before your test. Certificates are issued only to customers who purchase the Test + Certificate Bundle. Certificates are for personal assessment only and are not suitable for immigration or official visa purposes. Waitlist Policy: If a test slot is full, you may join the waitlist. You will be notified automatically if a space becomes available. Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. Important Notes: By booking a test, you agree to follow all STEP UK test rules, including camera usage and academic honesty. STEP UK reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
